Think of all
your customers, partners, and employees who own mobile phones
and you should instantly realize the merits of using SMS
technology in your business. Relevant, real-time information
between people in the field and the processes/technologies in
your headquarters can now be exchanged via inexpensive text
messages.
BizTXT is an SMS
Gateway for Applications, designed to simplify connecting your
line-of-business applications (e.g. POS, CRM, ERP, etc) to the SMS
network. Having BizTXT as a corporate resource allows you
to share, manage, and customize your own inbound and
outbound SMS facility to suit your business requirements. |

To connect with business applications,
BizTXT uses industry-standard application connectors (e.g. Text Files,
e-mail, Scripts, HTTP, ODBC, and Message Queue). Integration is made
simple by a built-in, easy-to-use administration module. |
To handle
inbound messages, user keywords can be created anytime.
Messages from end-users that are sent to these keywords can be
routed to any application connector. |
To handle
outbound messages, application connectors are also created,
which in turn route the messages to any of the available
dispatches. |
To connect with the SMS
network, BizTXT can use an SMS-enabled device (a mobile phone or GSM modem)
or, for high-volume scenarios, a telco SMS gateway service. |
And to route
messages directly to other BizTXT installations in remote sites,
BizTXT also comes with a built-in BizTXT Connector. This
scenario creates a complete Text Area Network. |
BizTXT can
integrate with most any business process and system. And with a
Text Area Network, it is even
possible to have dissimilar systems talk to each other, making
B2B (Business-to-Business) and B2C (Business-to-Consumer)
scenarios through SMS economically viable for businesses of any
size. |
